Tier 2: Technical & Search Structure Audit

Our Technical SEO Audit includes the SEO keyword Audit plus a technical audit of your existing SEO.

SEO Keyword Audit

Our SEO Keyword Audit focuses on the keywords that your small business or website should be targeting based on the search terms people are actually typing into Google. We do this by utilizing top search engine marketing tools, pulling keyword search volume and ranking factors, and then evaluating which terms, based on current site content, offered products or services, and competition, will bring you the most traffic.

You’ll receive an outline with our expert recommendations for which keywords your website should focus on and which to start integration to begin to optimize your pages and content.

You will receive an Excel sheet with recommended variations of keywords, their search volumes, and our recommendations based on the top keywords.

The technical audit is broken out into two parts:

Part One:
The first part of our technical SEO audit covers:

  • Assessment of overall site security
  • Review of URLs
  • Highlighting 404 issues and other URL status issues and crawler problems
  • Analysis and recommendations for sitemap and robots.txt
  • Audit of canonical tags
  • Recommendations to improve all of the above

Part Two:
Next we will analyze your meta data and schema-related content. This includes:

  • Audit of meta data (title tag & meta descriptions of each page)
  • Report on the top keywords the site is currently targeting
  • Evaluating Schema on site and finding opportunities for incorporation of details google likes

You will receive an Excel spreadsheet with recommended variations of keywords, their search volumes, and our recommendations based on the top keywords, as well as your overall tech audit score, category tech scores broken out, and recommendations for improvement.

Note:  If you have your own webmaster to implement the changes, great. Otherwise, feel free to call on us to do the coding of technical SEO recommendations. This could include rewriting your meta data, implementing canonical tags and writing our Schema data on pages.
